Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is best known for films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall.
