Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian after she appeared in small roles in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms in 2012. After her victory at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel shows. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. In 2012, she became the only woman to receive the So You Think You Are Funny award. When she was a child, Bea worked as an assistant tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a job, and enjoyed performing.
