Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). Apart from receiving critic praise, her work on the show earned six Emmy Award nominations under the category of best supporting actor. In the course of her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. Films include Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg & American Woman. Also, her voice can be heard on the animation movies From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! The first time she worked was as a model, and was in the field for a number of years until she made her debut on television with Undressed. The first major role she played was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her performance in the hit show Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her with the title of sexiest and most attractive American woman of the year 2010 as part of their annual poll.
